Meeting and Event Planning
Currently, in the management of 24 full-service clients, KMG plans, executes, and provides leadership for over 50 highly successful and profitable association meetings a year, with over a combined 14,000 attendees.
These meetings range from work groups of 5-10 volunteers, to large Boards of Directors and Strategic Planning Meetings (including committee chairs) of nearly 50, to traditional meetings/conventions (with exhibits and education) that range from 100 to up to 5,000 attendees.
Many of our annual meetings include educational programs, often for certified educational credits, with as many as 180 concurrent sessions. Further, many of our meetings include extensive trade shows, with exhibitors and sponsors, some having as many as 150 exhibits and a large number of sponsors, providing lucrative, non-dues revenue. KMG is experienced in developing comprehensive sponsorship opportunities that enhance the exposure of an organization's brand, secure non-dues revenue, and strengthen relationships between industry corporations and the association.
In support of all these meetings, KMG has meaningful relationships with most every national hotel chain and has worked with many cities' convention and visitors bureaus. Recognizing the value of an association's meeting allows an organization to better negotiate low room rate for attendees, free wi-fi, reductions in food and beverage requirements, free meeting rooms, and a number of additional concessions.
We also conduct a large number of special events-both "stand-alone" and as adjuncts to regular meetings, such as golf tournaments, social outings, educational events, and spouse programs.
