BILL KAUTTER, CAE
President
Bill Kautter formed Kautter Management Group after 15 years of experience in all aspects of association management. A native of Illinois, Bill holds a BS in Business Administration and MS in Administration and Education. In addition, he completed a six-year course of study with the United States Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organizational Development; and earned a Convention Management Certificate from the American Society of Association Executives.
Bill is one of the most recognized and honored association executives in Florida; a Certified Association Executive; listed in Who's Who in Association Management; first recipient of the President's Award from the Florida Society of Association Executives;, recipient of several distinguished service awards from various associations; and a prominent member of Central Florida's citizen involvement activities, including serving as a member of the Mayor's Youth Employment Advisory Board in Orlando.

TINA KAUTTER, CAE
Executive Vice President
Tina Kautter's nearly 25 years in association management have afforded her many opportunities to display her talents. She is widely known for her expertise in the fields of communication, strategic planning, membership, and meeting planning.
She holds the Certified Association Executive designation from the American Society of Association Executives, and majored in journalism and business management at Brevard and Seminole Community Colleges. She received further training in the Communications Certificate Program of the American Society of Association Executives.
As an ex-officio member of the ASAE Board of Directors and Chairman of the ASAE Management Company Section Council, Tina is on the cutting edge of information in the field of association management. She is widely recognized as an expert in her profession, and she has published articles and interviews in local, state, and national publications on various topics. She has received the "Volunteer of the Year Award" from Central Florida Businesses, and is Past President of the Florida Association of Crime Stoppers (FACS) and Southeastern Region Crime Stoppers. She also served on the Governor's Drug Task Force (FL) for an extended term. In addition to Tina's expertise, she is an engaging and popular speaker, able to galvanize an audience, a Board of Directors, or a committee into action through her power of persuasion, reason, and enthusiasm. She is particularly adept in leading groups in decision-making and planning sessions.

MELANIE DIXON, CAE, PHR
Chief Innovation Officer
Melanie Dixon, CAE has over 15 years of senior level nonprofit management experience focusing in operations, membership growth, leveraging human potential, increasing convention and publications revenue, and strengthening fiscal management. Working closely with volunteer Boards, Finance and Audit Committees, as well as Compensation Committees, she achieves tremendous success in bringing association operations and finances in alignment with commonly accepted business practices in the association community.
A graduate of UNC-Wilmington, with a B.A. in Communications Studies, Melanie went on to earn certifications from the Society for Human Resource Management as well as earning the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives.
As one of the youngest professionals to earn the CAE designation in 2004, Melanie remains an active member of the association community and regularly presents a training seminar as part of the CAE certification with ASAE. Melanie is also a Chief Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence Award. A prestigious award presented by the President of the United States, the Baldrige Award recognizes organizations that achieve excellence in seven key areas; including, leadership, strategic planning, knowledge management, and results. As an Examiner, her role is to analyze and assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges for organizations and Fortune 500 companies.

DAVE WENHOLD, CAE, PLC
Chief Strategy Officer
Dave Wenhold has 20 years of executive leadership experience working with nonprofits, trade associations, Congress, and government agencies. Besides his expertise and experience in association management, he is also one of the top lobbyists in Washington, D.C. and was recently recognized as such by Association Trends.
He holds the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives, as well the Professional Lobbying Certificate (PLC) from the American League of Lobbyists and is a frequent presenter at these and other industry group events. He is also the Immediate Past President of the American League of Lobbyists. He has appeared on television shows discussing lobbying and is often utilized as the "go-to" resource by media outlets like: AP, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, The National Journal, The Hill, Roll Call, USAToday, Washington Post, Washington Times and numerous other papers and magazines.
Dave served on the American Society of Association Executives Future Leaders Council, as well as being a long-term veteran for the Government Relations Council. He also was selected as one of ASAE's Future Leaders of America.
In addition to his work for KMG, Dave volunteers for American's in need and created a charity in Washington called the Capitol PurSuit Drive. For his philanthropic efforts, the President of the United States awarded Dave the "Call to Service" award, which is the country's highest award for citizen volunteerism and he was the first lobbyist to ever receive this award.

BARBARA BEATTY
Executive Manager
Barbara Beatty is an Account Executive with Kautter Management Group. In this capacity, Barbara serves as Executive Director for several of our clients.
Barbara graduated Cum Laude from Boston College and upon graduation began a career in politics by serving as an administrative aide at the U.S. Congress. Her career on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. included serving as a legislative aide, legislative director and committee minority staff director. After 12 years as a Congressional aide, Barbara went to work for Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), a national construction trade association. She held the position of Vice President for Government Relations, and was the Senior Legislative Lobbyist on Capitol Hill. Barbara coordinated all the association's involvement in legislative and regulatory affairs, formulated policy positions and implemented strategic plans.
In 1993, Barbara left the world of politics choosing instead to further her association management skills by working on the staff of an association management company (AMC). In her role at KMG she merges her parliamentary and diplomatic skills with knowledge of association law, providing guidance and administration to her clients. She conducts inspiring strategic planning sessions as well as talks on legislative involvement.
Barbara has been recognized as a leader receiving several awards and acknowledgement from her professional associations and colleagues. Most recently, she was distinguished with a Special Recognition Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

LYNN HUPP
Senior Vice President / Account Executive
Lynn Hupp has over 25 years’ experience in association management. She has held multiple roles, including administration, meeting and event planning, marketing and publishing. She currently serves as the Executive Director for the Florida Court Reporters Association, Assistant Executive Director for the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology and works closely with the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations. She also assists with meeting planning for several other KMG clients.
Lynn graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Sociology and double minor in Music and French. After graduation, she moved to Orlando and began her career in association management as an administrative assistant at the Florida Bankers Association. She worked for Kautter Management Group from 1988 – 1998, and returned in June, 2012. She served as Executive Director for the Florida State Massage Therapy Association for 6 years. She also spent time working in Orlando-area hotels as a convention services/catering manager.
Lynn is active in the Florida Society of Association Executives and currently serves as co-chair of the Membership Committee. She served as President of the Central Florida Society of Association Executives in 2000 & 2001.
