Tonya Wade is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) with over 15 years of association experience, having served in leadership roles for both national and local organizations. She is both a strategic thinker and implementer who possesses the ability to sort through complex issues and utilize her gift for team building to overcome obstacles and work effectively with multiple constituencies. Tonya has extensive experience designing, developing, and managing education and certification programs as well as planning meetings and events and providing administrative services. She currently serves as the Deputy Executive Director for the National Association for Health Care Recruitment, the American Association for Paralegal Education, and the National Association of Physician Recruiters.
Tonya graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree (majoring in Public Relations, minoring in Business Administration) and with a Juris Doctor. She practiced law for a number of years before beginning her career as an association management professional in 2000. Past associations include the American College of Physician Executives and the Apartment Association of Greater Knoxville. She is a member of ASAE, The Center for Association Leadership.
